Wonderfully fresh Gavi from this small 11ha estate in Piedmonte. Fresh citrus, green apple and stone fruits are complimented by a beauitful minerality
Bine Gavi is a fresh and zesty white wine made from 100% Cortese grapes grown in the Gavi DOCG zone of Piedmont, in northwestern Italy. The region’s rolling hills and marl-rich soils provide ideal conditions for this native grape, producing a wine known for its clarity and vibrancy. “Bine” is a colloquial term for vines in local dialect, highlighting the winery’s close connection to its land and heritage.
Aromas of green apple, white peach, and lemon blossom. The palate is light and crisp with flavours of citrus, almond, and a hint of saline minerality, leading to a clean, dry finish.
Contains sulphites.
BINE Gavi takes its name from the local Piedmontese dialect word for vines, reflecting the producer’s deep-rooted connection to the region. The wine is crafted by a small, family-run estate that prioritises low-intervention farming and traditional techniques to highlight the natural character of the Cortese grape. Their vineyards lie just outside the town of Gavi, where higher altitudes and limestone soils bring added freshness and minerality to the wine.
