District 7 Monterey Chardonnay is a dry white wine from Monterey County, California. Crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from estate vineyards in the northern reaches of District 7, the wine benefits from the region's cool coastal climate, characterised by morning fogs and afternoon breezes. These conditions allow for a long growing season, promoting full flavour development while preserving acidity. The winemaking process involves fermentation in stainless steel tanks to retain freshness, with a portion aged in new French oak barrels to add complexity.
Aromas of yellow apple, stone fruit, and pear, accented by hints of vanilla and caramel. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, crisp, and balanced, featuring bright fruit flavours and lingering notes of sweet oak on the finish.

The name "District 7" refers to Monterey County's official designation among California's grape crush districts. The winery is powered entirely by renewable wind energy, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
