Pichon Lalande Reserve de la Comtesse Pauillac

Réserve de la Comtesse is the second wine of Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande, one of Pauillac’s most admired estates. Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, it is aged in French oak to refine its structure and polish. The wine displays classic Pauillac character: blackcurrant and cassis layered with cedar, graphite and subtle spice. Silky tannins and precise balance make it approachable while still echoing the elegance of the grand vin.

The wine takes its name from Virginie de Pichon-Longueville, the Comtesse who inherited the estate in the 19th century and transformed it into one of Pauillac’s great properties. Her strong influence is still felt today — her silhouette appears on the label, making Pichon Lalande one of the few Bordeaux châteaux to feature a historical figure on every bottle.
