Begude Le Cerisier Pinot Noir

Bégude Le Cerisier Pinot Noir is an elegant and finely structured Pinot Noir from the cool-climate vineyards of Limoux. Bright ruby in colour, it shows lifted aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry alongside subtle spice and earthy undertones. The palate is silky and refined, with fine tannins, fresh acidity and a gentle savoury edge that adds complexity and length.

“Le Cerisier” translates as “The Cherry Tree”, a reference to the old cherry tree located beside the vineyard parcel from which the wine takes its name. Domaine Bégude’s high-altitude vineyards in Limoux experience significantly cooler nights than much of the Languedoc, helping Pinot Noir retain freshness and aromatic precision. This cooler climate has made Limoux one of the few southern French regions capable of consistently producing delicate, terroir-driven Pinot Noir styles.
