The Čech family winery can be found in the wine-growing village of Tvrdonice, which lies in the southernmost tip of South Moravia in the area called Moravian Slovácko well known for its busy cultural life, traditional folklore and dance. Established in 1996, the winery was initially run by passionate winemaker Jan Cech. Following Jan’s death, his son Petr took over the family business. Family-run Cech uses certified low intervention and biodynamical procedures, working with rich varieties of herbs to naturally regulate pests and fertilise vines.
