Domaine de la Viborne – Chasselas is a quintessential expression of Swiss winemaking heritage. Produced by Domaine de la Viborne, a family-owned estate nestled in Mont-sur-Rolle within the La Côte region of Vaud, Switzerland, this wine reflects a commitment to organic viticulture and traditional practices. The estate, dating back to 1627 and managed by the Despond family since 1931, spans just 2 hectares and overlooks the serene Lake Geneva. Crafted exclusively from the Chasselas grape—Switzerland's most widely planted white variety—this wine shows the delicate nuances and elegance characteristic of the region's terroir. Chasselas produces wines lower in acidity with floral characteristics.
Pale straw-yellow hue, Subtle aromas of white flowers, green apple, and a hint of citrus zest. On the palate light-bodied and refreshing, featuring flavours of crisp pear, lemon, and a touch of minerality. The wine's low acidity and alcohol content contribute to its smooth and approachable character.
