From young vines in California’s iconic vineyards, this Zinfandel is juicy and exuberant. Ripe blackberry, raspberry, and a touch of spice make it approachable, lively, and full of character.
Turley Cellars Juvenile Zinfandel is made from young vines sourced from a selection of the estate’s old-vine vineyards across California. These vineyards, many planted in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, were replanted by cuttings taken directly from the original sites, ensuring the same heritage character in a more youthful expression.
Bright aromas of raspberry, blackberry, and cherry with hints of spice. The palate is juicy and vibrant, showing red and dark fruit flavours supported by supple tannins and a lively finish.
Contains sulphites.
Turley Cellars is renowned for championing California’s old-vine Zinfandel. “Juvenile” is distinctive because it is made from younger vines propagated from historic sites across the state, many of which date back over 100 years. This approach preserves the lineage of these rare vineyards while allowing a fresher, more approachable style of Zinfandel.
