Talley Estate Pinot Noir

Talley Estate Pinot Noir is a refined red from California’s San Luis Obispo Coast, produced by family-owned Talley Vineyards based in the Arroyo Grande Valley. Crafted entirely from estate-grown Pinot Noir grapes, it's fermented in temperature-controlled concrete and stainless steel, then matured for around 13 months with about 30% in new French oak barrels. The Talley family emphasises sustainable viticulture across six vineyards, aiming for precise expression of coastal terroir.

● Colour: Vivid ruby with a translucent garnet rim. ● Aroma: Fresh red berry and forest-floor scents, including raspberry, cherry, violet, and subtle clove or spicecake notes. ● Palate: Medium-bodied and elegant, offering bright cherry, cranberry, pomegranate, and gentle herbal notes with silky tannins and fine mineral drive. A thread of sandalwood and spice adds complexity before a juicy, crisp finish.

Talley Estate Pinot Noir reflects the cooler San Luis Obispo Coastal climate—ideal for slow ripening and bright acidity. The blend of estate vineyards (Rincon, Rosemary’s and Stone Corral) offers a nuanced interplay of soil types—shaly loam, calcareous clay and sandy clay—adding layers of red fruit, minerality and finesse.
