Perfumed red fruits, raspberry and cherry, with gentle oak spice, fine tannins and fresh acidity, offering Burgundian elegance, balance and a lingering, savoury finish.
From the southern end of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Belleville’s Santenay Rouge Les Hâtes is a Pinot Noir that balances ripeness with structure. Bright ruby in colour, it opens with red cherry and cranberry before moving into subtle notes of dried herbs, spice and a gentle earthy undertone. Les Hâtes typically produces wines with a firmer backbone than many Santenay lieux-dits, giving this wine both freshness and ageing potential while remaining approachable in its youth.

Les Hâtes is one of Santenay’s best-regarded Premier Cru vineyards, known for producing more structured, age-worthy wines than is typical for the appellation. Santenay itself is the southernmost wine village of the Côte de Beaune and is also a historic spa town, making it one of the few places in Burgundy where vineyards sit alongside thermal baths. Domaine Belleville revived an old Burgundian name and is based in Rully, focusing on expressing individual vineyard sites rather than a single flagship estate style.
