Bégude Pet Nat La Folie is a naturally sparkling wine made using the ancestral method, where fermentation finishes in bottle to create a gentle, lively fizz. Pale and lightly cloudy in appearance, it offers bright citrus and orchard fruit alongside subtle yeasty and floral notes. The palate is fresh, vibrant and lightly textured, with fine bubbles and a crisp finish that gives the wine an energetic, easy-drinking style.

“La Folie” translates as “madness” or “folly”, a nod to the unpredictable nature of pétillant naturel winemaking. Unlike traditional sparkling wines, Pet Nat is bottled before primary fermentation has finished, meaning the bubbles are created naturally without added sugar or secondary fermentation. Limoux, where Domaine Bégude is based, has a long sparkling wine history dating back to 1531, making it one of the oldest sparkling wine regions in the world.
