Produced by the Cave Vinicole de Hunawihr, a respected co-operative in the heart of Alsace, this Gewurztraminer comes from vineyards nestled between the Vosges mountains and the Rhine. The region's cool climate and varied soils bring out the best in this expressive variety, resulting in a wine that is both aromatic and structured, true to the Alsatian style.
Intense aromas of lychee, rose petal, and Turkish delight. The palate is off-dry with flavours of ripe tropical fruit, ginger, and spice, balanced by a soft acidity and a long, floral finish.
Contains sulphites.
The Cave de Hunawihr was founded in 1954 by a group of winegrowers committed to preserving their region's identity and quality. Today, it is one of Alsace’s most celebrated co-operatives, with its Gewurztraminer wines regularly winning awards for their aromatic precision and balance.
