You don't often see Sauvignon Blanc as a Rosé, but just like the white, the palate is bursting with fresh citrus and gooseberry fruit.
A blend of 85% Sauvignon Blanc, 11% Pinot Rose & 4% Pinot Noir. This mix gives the wine a beautiful blush colour and aromatics, while softening the acidity on the palate. The grapes were picked at cool temperatures early in the morning to ensure optimal freshness and acidity is retained in the fruit, before being pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Elegant and delightfully lifted, showing sweet strawberry, creaming soda, white floral and lemon zest aromas, along with watermelon, crunchy apple and kiwi fruit. It's juicy and beautifully rounded in the mouth, with excellent fruit purity and finesse.
May contain traces of milk, egg or fish products.
Sauvignon Blanc fruit was sourced from an 8ha block in Marlborough’s stunning Waihopai Valley - they refer to it as Snapper Rock’s ‘ika vineyard’, ika meaning ‘fish’ in Māori.
