Martinez Lacuesta Rioja Crianza

Martínez Lacuesta Rioja Crianza is a classic, traditionally styled Rioja made predominantly from Tempranillo. Deep ruby in colour, it offers aromas of ripe red and black cherry, plum and blackberry, alongside vanilla, cedar and gentle spice. The palate is smooth and rounded, with supple tannins, good freshness and a savoury finish, making it an approachable example of mature, oak-aged Rioja.

Martínez Lacuesta was founded in 1895 and is one of the historic names of Haro, the town often considered the heart of Rioja's traditional wine trade. The family also famously produces its own vermouth, using a recipe that dates back to the early 20th century.
