Earthy black cherry and blackberry aromas are complemented by herbaceous notes. This is full bodied with plenty of black fruit and a hint of prune.
Marta Ramas and Miguel started their wine careers in Bordeaux, Saint Emillion.in very deep clayey soils, which allows humidity to be maintained even in dry periods. The Valiente 2018 comes from two estates located in the terms of Gumiel de Mercado and Baños de Valdearados (Burgos), and with an age of the vineyard between 30 and 50 years. Both plots have deep clay soil, which allows humidity to be retained in the soil even in dry periods. In addition, the plots are oriented to the northwest and at an altitude of 850 to 900 meters, which allows to obtain an elegant wine, with freshness and acidity, medium concentration and very fruity. the wine is brought into 500-liter barrels of French with fine-graned oak and light toast, where it will undergo malolactic fermentation and aging for 12 months.
Fruity wine but maintaining the essence of Bodegas Valdaya, with floral memories, such as violet, and balsamic. In the mouth it is velvety, with a round tannin and freshness. It maintains the classic elegant character in our wines and freshness, but betting on a more fruity and lively profile.
