Vachnadziani Winery Saperavi

Made from Georgia’s flagship red grape, Saperavi, this deeply coloured wine comes from the Kakheti region in the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains. It's a bold, full-bodied red with vibrant fruit, spice, and earthy character, fermented in stainless steel to retain purity.

Intense blackberry, plum, and sour cherry on the nose, with notes of black pepper and dried herbs. The palate is rich and juicy, with firm tannins, dark fruit, and a savoury finish touched with spice and smoky depth.

Contains sulphites.

Vachnadziani Winery stands on the site of one of Georgia’s oldest winemaking monasteries, dating back to the 4th century. While the winery embraces modern techniques today, it still honours the country’s ancient winemaking heritage—Saperavi included.
