The best flor-aged sherry we've ever tried - a marriage of dry lime peel, salty nuts and long biting perfume. Outstanding sherry for a song!
Deliciosa Manzanilla is a classic, dry sherry from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a unique coastal town in Spain where the influence of the Atlantic Ocean is integral to the wine’s character. This Manzanilla is aged under a natural layer of flor yeast in bodegas with high humidity and sea air, creating a distinctive freshness and lightness that is hard to replicate elsewhere.
Delicate aromas of green apple, fresh almonds, and subtle hints of sea breeze. On the palate, it is bone dry with crisp acidity and a pronounced saline minerality. The wine shows a fine nuttiness and a clean, lingering finish that echoes the maritime environment where it is produced.
Contains sulphites.
Deliciosa’s production relies on the rare combination of coastal microclimate and traditional solera ageing under flor yeast, which together give this Manzanilla its trademark saline freshness and elegance. Unlike other sherries aged inland, Deliciosa captures the essence of the sea, making it a perfect expression of Sanlúcar’s unique winemaking heritage.
