Churchills Vintage Port 1985

Churchill’s Vintage Port 1985 is a powerful and age-worthy wine from one of the Douro’s most respected boutique producers. Founded in 1981 by Johnny Graham, Churchill’s was the first new Port house in 50 years and quickly established a reputation for producing distinctive, full-bodied Ports with freshness and structure. The 1985 vintage is a declared year and widely regarded as one of the finest of the decade, offering richness, balance, and great ageing potential.

Aromas of black cherry, fig, violets, and liquorice. The palate is intense and layered, with flavours of dried plum, cassis, dark chocolate, and spice, supported by firm tannins and a long, warming finish.

Contains sulphites.
