We begin in Greece with two beautiful wines from Godessa. The Assyrtiko is crisp, mineral and wonderfully refreshing, packed with citrus and saline character, whilst the Agiorgitiko offers juicy red berry fruit, gentle spice and remarkable drinkability.
From the incredible Domaine Bégude in Limoux, we’ve included two wines that perfectly showcase the estate’s elegant, terroir-driven style. “Le Cérésier” Pinot Noir is picked slightly earlier to create a beautifully fresh, vibrant and lower alcohol Pinot full of crunchy red fruit, whilst the unoaked “Terroir” Chardonnay is all about purity, texture and showcasing the remarkable vineyards of Limoux.
To finish, two southern French rosés offer a fascinating comparison in regional influence. Estandon “Le Rollier” brings Mediterranean sunshine and classic Provençal elegance, while Coquille de Fleur shows a subtly fresher, Atlantic-influenced style. Both are dry, delicate and dangerously easy to enjoy.
