Royal Tokaji Sweet Szamorodni is a beautifully balanced dessert wine made from whole bunches of grapes containing a natural mix of healthy and botrytis-affected berries. Deep golden in colour, it reveals aromas of honey, dried apricot and orange peel, with layers of baked apple, walnuts and warming spice. Rich and silky on the palate, it is lifted by vibrant acidity, giving the wine freshness, complexity and an exceptionally long finish.

The word Szamorodni comes from the Polish phrase samorodny, meaning "as it comes". Unlike Tokaji Aszú, where only individually selected botrytised berries are used, Szamorodni is made from whole bunches harvested together, containing both healthy and noble rot-affected grapes. This centuries-old method creates a wine that is less intensely sweet than Aszú but prized for its remarkable balance of richness, freshness and complexity, making it one of Tokaj's most traditional wine styles.
