Beaujolais is the most southerly part of Burgundy, and you can taste the pedigree in this elegant and flavoursome unoaked Chardonnay. Sweet floral aromas mingle with intense citrus notes and a wonderful texture to give a very classy finish.
An elegant and flavoursome unoaked Chardonnay from Beaujolais, the southernmost part of Burgundy. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at 18-20°C, and the wine is aged in stainless steel on its fine lees.
Aromas of white blossom with intense citrus notes and a rich texture imparted by the lees ageing.
Contains sulphites.
White Beaujolais is a rather rare beast - of the 75 million bottles of wine produced annually in the region, only 2 million are white.
