Simpsons Flint Fields Blanc de Noirs 2020 is a distinguished English sparkling wine crafted exclusively from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, specifically Clone 115, grown on the chalk-rich soils of the North Downs in Kent. This clone is selected for its ability to produce a fuller-bodied style with a luxurious mouthfeel. The grapes were hand-harvested over a five-day period, ensuring optimal ripeness and quality. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks, with 20% of the wine aged in barrels, followed by traditional method secondary fermentation in bottle. The wine was then aged on lees to develop complexity and depth.
