Made in large oak vats this Riesling has wonderful body and texture giving a long balanced finish of fresh lime, citrus and candied fruit.
Paul Anheuser Kreuznacher Narrenkappe Trocken is a dry white wine from Germany’s Nahe region, offering a crisp and precise style. Sourced from the steep, mineral-rich slopes of the Narrenkappe vineyard, it combines bright fruit with refreshing acidity and a clean, elegant finish.
Aromas of citrus peel, white peach, and flint. The palate delivers lemon, green apple, and a touch of saline minerality, with a zesty acidity and dry, mouthwatering finish.
Contains sulphites.
The name Narrenkappe means “fool’s cap,” a nod to the vineyard’s curved shape and historic nickname. This site is prized for its slate soils and excellent drainage, producing wines with clarity, lift, and a signature mineral streak that’s typical of the Nahe.
