Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste 2016 is a classic Pauillac from a Fifth Growth estate with a reputation for outperforming its classification. Situated on a gravel-rich plateau, the estate’s vineyards produce structured, age-worthy wines with Cabernet Sauvignon at the core. The 2016 vintage is considered one of the greatest in recent Bordeaux history, offering remarkable balance, freshness, and depth.
Aromas of cassis, cedar, graphite, and tobacco leaf. The palate is powerful yet refined, showing blackcurrant, dark cherry, pencil shavings, and spice, with firm tannins and a long, focused finish.
