Seggio’ is the name of the creek that runs through Bolgheri. The wine which bears its name is intense ruby red in colour with aromas of fresh crunchy red berries enriched with mineral and spicy notes.
Poggio al Tesoro Il Seggio Bolgheri is a powerful and elegant red blend from the renowned Bolgheri DOC on Italy’s Tuscan coast. Made predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon, with smaller amounts of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the wine reflects the region’s warm Mediterranean climate and maritime influence. Ageing in French oak adds complexity and structure.
Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and cedar with subtle hints of graphite and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, featuring ripe dark fruit, firm tannins, and a long, refined finish.
Contains sulphites.
