The 2009 appears to be the greatest since '89 and '90. Opaque and dense in the glass, the scent is of spring flowers, graphite, smoky charcoal, incense, blackberries, blueberries and hints of coffee and chocolate. Intense, pure and flawlessly constructed with extravagant layers of fruit and richness. Utterly brilliant and peaking anywhere between 2018 and 2045.
