Peique Godello is a fresh and expressive white wine from the Bierzo region in northwestern Spain. Crafted by Bodegas Peique, a family-run winery with deep roots in the village of Valtuille de Abajo, this wine showcases the Godello grape’s natural balance of richness and acidity. The vines grow on slate and clay soils at altitude, contributing to the wine’s minerality and tension.
Aromas of green apple, pear, and white flowers with a hint of fennel. The palate is clean and vibrant, offering flavours of citrus, stone fruit, and a subtle mineral edge, finishing with refreshing acidity.
Contains sulphites.
Godello was once nearly extinct but has seen a revival thanks to producers like Peique—now celebrated for its quality and versatility as one of Spain’s top white grapes.
