Poças Fora da Série Orange Wine is a distinctive white wine from Portugal's Douro Valley, crafted through extended skin maceration of Arinto and Códega do Larinho grapes. This traditional technique imparts a unique amber hue and complex flavour profile. Aged in 300-litre French oak barrels with bâtonnage for 8 months, it offers a balance of freshness and structure.
Aromas of dried apricot, orange peel, and subtle resin. The palate is textured with flavours of yellow fruit, citrus zest, and a hint of pine, leading to a dry, crisp finish.
Contains sulphites.
The "Fora da Série" label translates to "Out of Series," reflecting Poças' experimental approach to winemaking, producing limited-edition wines that explore traditional techniques and unique expressions.
