Discover a taste of Northern Spain

It’s #tryjanuary here at Grape Minds and we have launched a new tasting box with a difference.

Try our Northern Spanish exploration box, for £95 (delivered contact free to your door, anywhere in the UK) and we will upload 6 tasting videos to our Youtube Channel

We will also host a Zoom tasting for the Louro Godello and Lan Reserva on Friday 22nd January at 6pm.

The 6 wines are:

-Rezebal Txakoli £13.49 – A Basque white with a hint of natural spritz. A lovely fresh wine perfect as an aperitif

-Coral do Mar Albarino £13.99 – A very minerally Albarino but with plenty of fresh stone fruit. Beautiful with sea food

-Loro do Bolo Godello £19.99 – Godello is Albarino’s fruitier cousin, but with more time on the lees, there is a lovely mouthfeel that would make this a wonderful partner to more meaty fish.

-Cuatro Pasos Mencia, Bierzo £11.99 – From Northwest Spain, this is Spanish red at its lightest. Fresh cherry and herbaceous notes.

-Lan Reserva Rioja £16.99 – For me, this is the definitive style of Rioja and hence why we chose it. That balance of cherry fruit and vanilla spice from the oak is delightful.

-Tamaral Crianza, Ribera del Duero £18 – A rich inky wine from the Ribera. With less oak, this has wonderful fresh blueberry and darker blackberry notes.
