Rickety Bridge Chardonnay

Rickety Bridge Chardonnay is produced in Franschhoek, one of South Africa’s most historic wine regions. The estate dates back to the late 17th century and combines heritage with modern winemaking techniques. This wine is barrel-fermented in French oak, which adds complexity while preserving the fruit-driven character typical of the region’s cooler sites.

Aromas of ripe peach, lemon curd, and subtle vanilla. The palate is medium-bodied with flavours of baked apple, citrus, and toasted almond, supported by balanced acidity and a touch of creamy oak.

Rickety Bridge gets its name from the narrow, wooden bridge that once spanned the Franschhoek River to access the farm.
