Xanadu Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a benchmark wine from Margaret River, Western Australia—an area renowned for its Bordeaux-style reds. The estate, founded in the 1970s, takes its name from the mythical city in Coleridge’s poem, reflecting its founders’ vision of creating exceptional wines in an untouched landscape. This Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from estate-grown fruit and matured in French oak to highlight the varietal’s depth and structure.
Aromas of blackcurrant, bay leaf, cedar, and dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with ripe cassis, plum, and earthy tobacco flavours, supported by fine tannins and a long, savoury finish.
Contains sulphites.
Xanadu was one of the first producers to plant Cabernet Sauvignon in Margaret River, and the variety has since become the region’s signature red grape.
