Oneiric Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied red wine from the cool-climate Elgin Valley in South Africa. Crafted from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, the wine is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels (first and second fill) and then matured in bottle for several years before release. This approach allows the wine to develop depth and complexity while maintaining freshness.
Aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, and blueberry, with hints of cedar and spice. The palate is rich and textured, featuring layers of dark fruit, subtle herbal notes, and well-integrated oak, leading to a long, velvety finish.
Contains sulphites.
The label design reflects the family's background in copper mining, with each varietal featuring a unique copper sulphide derivative. This Cabernet Sauvignon's label is inspired by Chalcocite, symbolizing the wine's richness and depth.
