Oneiric First Quantum is a premium red wine from the cool-climate Elgin region in South Africa. Made mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of other Bordeaux varieties, it showcases the elegance and freshness that Elgin’s altitude and climate provide. The wine is structured, with ripe fruit and balanced tannins, designed for both early drinking and ageing.
Aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and cedar. The palate is medium to full-bodied with flavours of dark berries, spice, and a hint of oak, finishing with smooth tannins and good length.
Contains sulphites.
Oneiric’s First Quantum highlights Elgin’s cooler climate, which allows for slow grape ripening and the development of refined flavours rarely seen in South African reds.
