Classic Bordeaux red: plum, cassis, tobacco leaf, cedar, balanced tannins, juicy core, freshness, and a refined persistent finish.
Château Moulin de Mallet is a classic, fruit-forward Bordeaux from Pujols, just south of Saint- Émilion. The 2022 is a Merlot-led blend with Cabernet Franc, giving plenty of ripe plum and blackcurrant fruit alongside gentle spice and savoury notes. The palate is juicy and rounded, with soft tannins and enough freshness to keep the wine lively. A straightforward, approachable claret that delivers plenty of character without being overly heavy or oaky.

The Couderc family have owned Château Moulin de Mallet since 1898, gradually expanding the estate to around 45 hectares. The vineyards sit on the hills around Pujols, only a few kilometres from Saint-Émilion, with predominantly clay-limestone soils. The property is now run by Julien Couderc, the fourth generation of the family, and the vineyard was awarded High Environmental Value certification in 2018.
