Esterelles de Batea Garnaxta Negra

Estrelles de Batea Negre is a red wine from Celler Alimara, located in the Terra Alta region of Catalonia. It is made from 100% Garnatxa Negra (Grenache) grapes, fermented in stainless steel to preserve the fresh fruit character. The wine is then aged for 8 months in a large old oak foudre, enhancing its texture and complexity without overpowering the fruit.

The wine presents aromas of ripe red berries, such as raspberry and cherry, with subtle hints of spice from the oak aging. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with soft tannins, balanced acidity, and a smooth finish, making it an approachable and easy-drinking red.
