Mailloches Bourgueil Vieilles Vignes

Mailloches Bourgueil Vieilles Vignes is a structured red wine from the Bourgueil appellation in the Loire Valley, France. Produced by Domaine des Mailloches—led by Samuel Demont, representing eight generations of winemaking tradition—it is made entirely from Cabernet Franc. The grapes come from 80 to 100-year-old vines planted on a mix of sandy-clay, gravel, and clay-limestone soils, offering depth and concentration.

Bright garnet-purple in appearance. Aromas of cherry, raspberry, and blueberry compote are lifted by hints of liquorice and dark chocolate. The palate is fleshy yet refined, with juicy fruit, structured tannins, savoury black pepper, and a polished, lingering finish.

Contains sulphites.
