Maturing with a distinct farmyard note overlaying deep savoury notes of dark, dry plum, herb and pepper. A treat of a wine that is drinking perfectly now and for 3-6 years.
Château Beau Site Haut Vignobles is a classic red Bordeaux from Saint-Estèphe, made predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The wine is traditionally vinified and aged in French oak, expressing the appellation’s trademark structure and minerality, with added depth from gravel-rich soils.
Aromas of blackcurrant, graphite, and cedar. On the palate, it’s firm yet refined, with flavours of dark plum, tobacco, and subtle spice, supported by fresh acidity and fine, grippy tannins.
Contains sulphites.
Château Beau Site Haut Vignobles takes its name from its elevated vineyard position—“Beau Site” meaning “beautiful site”—overlooking the Gironde. Family-owned and under the radar, the estate focuses on producing elegant, ageworthy Saint-Estèphe wines that often punch above their weight for the appellation.
