Muses Estate Assyrtiko is crisp and vibrant, with citrus blossom, green apple, and flinty minerality. Bright acidity and a saline edge deliver a refreshing, structured finish with Greek island character.
Muses Winery Assyrtiko is a dry white wine crafted from pure Assyrtiko grapes grown in mainland Greece’s Viotia region, near the historic Valley of the Muses. This single-varietal bottling is made with a focus on minimal intervention—wild yeast fermentation, gentle lees ageing, and no over- reliance on oak—aiming to honour the grape’s purity and origin.
Pale straw in colour with luminous clarity. On the nose, expect crisp aromas of lemon zest, green apple and river pebble minerality. The palate is precise and invigorating—lemon citrus meets tart yellow apple, framed by flinty mineral tones and finishing with vibrant acidity and a clean, lingering lift.
Contains sulphites.
This Assyrtiko shines by letting the grape speak for itself—without oak influence or heavy winemaking techniques. It delivers the variety’s famed high acidity and mineral clarity, with lees- aged texture adding depth. Ideal for those seeking a palate-cleanser white with both crispness and subtle complexity.
