Boschendal Nicolas Blend is a polished, Bordeaux-influenced red from one of South Africa’s most historic estates. Combining Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and supporting varieties, it is aged in French oak to build structure and complexity. The wine delivers ripe black fruit, cassis and plum alongside notes of cedar, cocoa and subtle spice. Rich yet balanced, it offers refined tannins and a long, poised finish.

The blend is named after Nicolas De Lanoy, a French Huguenot who arrived at Boschendal in 1688 and laid the foundations for the estate’s winemaking heritage. His arrival marked the beginning of over 330 years of continuous viticulture on the farm, making Boschendal one of South Africa’s oldest wine estates.
