Bodegas Fontana Cuvee Celadon

Bodegas Fontana Cuvée Celadón is a fresh, organic white from DO Uclés in central Spain, made from a blend of Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc. Pale straw in colour, it combines bright citrus and orchard fruit with subtle herbal notes and a gentle tropical edge. The palate is crisp and lively, with added texture from time spent on fine lees, giving it a rounded mouthfeel while retaining a clean, mineral- driven finish.

Cuvée Celadón comes from vineyards planted at 750–775 metres above sea level, where altitude plays a key role in preserving acidity despite the hot continental climate of central Spain. Bodegas Fontana farms a large single estate of hundreds of hectares, allowing them to match each grape variety to specific soil types—particularly clay-limestone plots—resulting in a wine that combines freshness with surprising structure for the region.
