Oenops Xinomavro

Oenops Xinomavro is a modern expression of Greece’s noble red grape, crafted by rising star winemaker Nikos Karatzas. Working without a permanent winery, Oenops sources high-quality fruit from old vineyards in Northern Greece, particularly Naoussa and Amyndeon. The wine is made with minimal intervention, often fermented in amphora or neutral oak to highlight the grape’s character—pure, textured, and expressive.

Aromas of wild cherry, tomato leaf, dried herbs, and subtle spice. The palate is bright and structured, with flavours of red berries, plum skin, savoury earth, and fine tannins, finishing long and fresh.
